Text Box: New construction jobs usually consist of two phases.  The first phase is usually referred to as the “rough in” phase, and includes the installation of the duct system, the refrigeration lines, the wire for the thermostat, and the installation of the indoor equipment - if it is going to be in the attic (horizontal applications).
After the building is “trimmed out” and the electrical power is on, then it is time for the second phase which is referred to as the “final.”  This is when the grills are installed, the outdoor equipment is set, the thermostat is installed, and the system is turned on.  At this point, the system is checked to ensure that it is operating properly.
Remodels/Add Ons  Whether the project is large or small, Air Dynamics will work to ensure that the customer gets the best job possible.  We will take into account the needs of the customer and the requirements of what the remodel or add on will entail.  With all of this in mind, Air Dynamics will work to make sure that the proper duct system and equipment is installed, along with whatever else is necessary, to ensure that the renovated area stays just the right temperature.
Service & Repair   At Air Dynamics, we know that the customer wants to stay cool in the summer and warm in the winter, so we try our best to provide the most prompt service and repair of the system as possible.
We stock many common service and repair parts to ensure that we get the customer’s system up and running as quickly as possible. However, in some cases, we do have to order a part - depending on the age of the system, the brand of the system, or the specific part that is not working properly.
System Installs in Existing Structures  If a customer would like to add central heat and air to an already existing home, then Air Dynamics exams the home - looking at the attic space, the amount of insulation, and other aspects that could possibly effect the heating and cooling of the home.  Then, the dimensions of the home are measured and a lay out of the home is drawn.  Taking all of this into account, we determine what size unit would best work in each individual case.
System Replacement As with everything in life, a/c and heating systems eventually do wear out.  After Air Dynamics has evaluated a system and determined that it is beyond repair, too costly to repair or the home owner desires a newer, more efficient system, then it is time for a system change out.
At this point, Air Dynamics will discuss with the customer the prices and efficiencies available in each product line.

Text Box: Heat Load Calculations  At Air Dynamics, we run a computer based heat load analysis on all new construction jobs and existing home installations.  We do this to ensure that the customer receives just the right amount of a/c and heat for their individual home and personal needs.
Heat load calculations take into consideration numerous aspects of the home, such as sq. footage, height of the ceilings, types & sizes of windows, insulation in the home, as well as many other aspects of the home.  Along with this, we take into consideration the needs and desires of the customer to best provide the most efficient and properly sized system.
These calculations ensure that the system is not undersized, which could cause the unit to run constantly to meet the heating and cooling needs, obviously resulting in a higher utility bill and greater “wear and tear” on the system.  Secondly, these calculations save the customer money on the initial installation of the system since the customer does not pay for a larger sized system than is needed.  Also, if the system is over sized, the unit may not be able to draw enough humidity out of the indoor air, and thus, the home may be cool, but it will be a damp cool.
System Designs  Upon receiving a set of blue prints or bidding a system installation for an existing home, Air Dynamics designs a duct system lay out for each individual home or project.  The duct system lays out in detail where each duct “drop” should be and how the whole duct system should be connected throughout the building.  This lay out is based upon heat load calculations, and takes into account the a/c and heating needs of each specific area of the home or building.
The duct layout specifies the amount of heating and cooling BTU’s necessary for each area of the building.  Based upon this, the appropriate size duct is ran to each specific location.
Flex Duct & Hard Pipe Systems  At Air Dynamics, we offer flex duct systems, hard pipe systems, or a combination of both, as well as, custom built duct.  In most new homes, as well as, in system installations in existing homes, flex duct systems are the standard.  However, there are certain situation in which we install hard pipe systems or a combination of both based on architectural requirements, location of the duct, or customer preference.
New Construction  Air Dynamics runs heat load calculations on all new construction jobs to ensure that the proper system, as well as, duct system is installed.  Varying Brands and efficiencies are discussed with the general contractor or home owner to ensure that the customer gets the system that they desire.
